x-ray sources

IfG offers low power X-Ray sources but also pulsed sources with high energetic radiation and pulse duration in the range of 100 fs.

The low power X-Ray sources are characterised by high brilliance in a small spot and can be used in combination with different types of X-ray optics for micro-fluorescence and micro-diffraction.

The pulsed sources can be used for time resolved examinations with pump-probe-experiments.
